Favorite New York athletes, mascots and sports personalities will be on-site to engage kids in one-of-a-kind athletic fun. Shoot hoops, perfect your puck skills or learn how to throw the perfect pitch -- we’re taking sports to the street in Tribeca! IFC-SXSW
Time Warner Cable in partnership with IFC, integrated its own lounge within the IFC Crossroads House at the SXSW 2012 Festival and kept volunteers fed via an official food truck through its festival sponsorship. To kick off the week’s festivities, Time Warner Cable hosted an influencer event around it’s philanthropic initiative Connect a Million Minds (CAMM) and wouldn’t.it.be.cool.if, a contest also provided by the company itself and I.AM.FIRST, founded by will.i.am. Special guests included Dean Kamen, Bill Eichner, Alex Karpovsky, students and their robots and more. Throughout the week festival goers interacted in Time Warner Cable’s lounge which showcased the TWC TV™ app, music, movies and gaming. Twilight Fan Breakfast
The day before the worldwide premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part I in Los Angeles, Time Warner Cable was on site to host a fan breakfast for the thousand campers who awaited 3 days of talent appearances.
Time Warner Cable teamed up with Corner Bakery Café to provide breakfast and distribute t-shirts and fans, while Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli, Booboo Stewart, Casey LaBow and MyAnna Buring were on site to wow fans and sign memorabilia. Time Warner Cable at Texas Motor Speedway Race fans came out to satisfy their need for speed with Time Warner Cable’s Sports Pass streaming online content from SPEED2 (live online). They experienced 3D time trials with Jimmie Johnson’s new game Anything with an Engine, created their own Victory Lane experience (complete with a step and repeat and Digital Pit Stop to upload your Victory Lane Photo). Fans packed the space for a special appearance from Dale Earnhardt, Jr. “Junior” as they call him, did a live Q & A for nearly 700 fans and one of his first ever autograph signings for a limited number of fans who attained wristbands earlier in the day.
